Lots of work has been done over the last few months to collate the information we gathered through the engagement activities we held last year.

Key elements of our plans

Based on what you told us, we drafted several vision statements. You had the opportunity to vote for the one that best reflects our community’s aspirations for the future of Knox, and almost half of you preferred this one:

Knox: where we connect with our people and our environment, ensuring they are safe, supported and have every opportunity to thrive.

Using what we you told us are your priorities, we also developed other critical elements of our plans:

• key directions (previously called our goals) which are the areas we as a community need to focus on to achieve our vision, and
• strategies that describe how Council will contribute towards achieving our vision under each of the key directions.
