Knox residents and their four-legged friends have an exciting new destination to explore, with the dog park now open at Wantirna Reserve in Wantirna.

The purpose-built space offers more than 3,500 square metres of fenced areas. It includes separate enclosures for shy and large dogs, plus walking circuits to create a more engaging environment for pets. Upgraded drainage ensures the areas remain accessible year-round, and solar lighting will give visitors more hours to enjoy the park.

Families visiting Wantirna Reserve will also find a newly upgraded children’s playground, which now includes instrumental play elements, a five-metre-high slide tower, a 10-metre flying fox, a large swing set with an accessible seat, and nature play in a dry creek bed.

The dog park was a major initiative in the Wantirna Reserve masterplan and was supported by the Victorian Government’s New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.
