Thank you to all residents, stakeholders, and community members who provided feedback during the consultation phase of the draft Basin Triangle Masterplan. Based on a review of the feedback received, further development of the masterplan will be discontinued, as there is limited need for upgrades to the reserve’s facilities, and the community has expressed satisfaction with the current amenities.

While the masterplan will not proceed, we will implement the following upgrades over the coming years, subject to budget availability:

• Increase the sound shell’s electricity capacity to support local events.
• Reconstruct path connections across the reserve, including sections from the sound shell space to the toilet blocks to improve access for all.
• Enhance the landscaped area near the roundabout between Basin-Olinda Road and Mountain Highway, extending along Basin-Olinda Road, with additional bike parking and outdoor dining amenities.

Please note that future upgrades are subject to budget availability, and the playground will be reviewed when the current play equipment is due for replacement.
