We have finalised the upgrades of all 4 playspaces between December 2021 to February 2022 with new equipment for all age groups, with the aim of:

• increasing visibility
• improving park amenities
• encouraging nature-based play.

How did your feedback guide the playground design?

• In December 2020, we asked the community what they currently like about the playspaces, what could be improved and what they would like to see in these reserves. Based on this feedback we developed concept plans for each reserve.
• In February and March 2021, we asked what the community thought of the proposed concept plans. The flyers available to download in the document library below include the draft concept plans and further information for each reserve.
• In September 2021, we finalised the tender process and kicked off the constructions.

Note: Knox Athletics Playspace in Knoxfield has been rescheduled to be upgraded in 2023 to 2024 to align with the Knox Athletics Track renewal works.
