Playspace renewal program
Local playspaces in Knox are renewed as part of our annual Capital Works Program.
The renewal process includes community consultation on the proposed renewal designs. This is followed by construction which consists of the removal and refurbishment or, replacement of existing play equipment and landscaping.
2024/2025 Playspace upgrades
Four playspaces will be undergoing renewal works this financial year (2024 – 2025).

Update on 2023/24 playspace upgrades
Construction of Castlefield Square, Wantirna and Val Boyd Reserve, Ferntree Gully will commence in May 2024.
Construction of Kent Park, Ferntree Gully will commence in June 2024.
