At the 15 December 2025 council meeting, Council adopted the Knox Mobility and Access Action Plan 2025 - 2036.

Council made this decision after noting community feedback on the draft plan received in September and October of this year.

The following actions were also carried as part of a motion that:

• Officers provide an annual progress summary on the implementation of the Knox Mobility and Access Action Plan in the annual Capital Works report to Council.
• Council continues to involve people with disability and carers in the scoping and design of projects impacting mobility and access, through collaborative audits and targeted consultation, to ensure lived experience informs implementation.
• Officers identify and pursue external funding opportunities from State and Federal Governments, grant funding streams and other partners to support the delivery of the Knox Mobility and Access Action Plan.
