The purpose of our community consultation was to hear your ideas on how we can make Knox a more dementia-friendly community. The insights, ideas and suggestions gathered have informed the draft Dementia Friendly Action Plan which will be presented to Councillors at the July 2023 Council meeting.

The survey was undertaken throughout September and October 2022 and was divided into two sections:

• those living with dementia
• those who are a carer, family member or friend of someone living with dementia.

Of the 369 respondents, 24 people identified as living with dementia.
