The Community Awards Program report was considered at the Strategic Planning Committee meeting on 11 September and the Council meeting on 25 September.

The report provides a detailed review of the Awards program, and incorporates community feedback received during the consultation period.

Knox Council will continue to honour community contribution through a Community Awards program in 2024, with a revised format.

A further report to Council will be presented in early 2024 to determine the new awards format, and timing. Therefore, the Awards ceremony will be planned for later in 2024, and will not be held on Australia Day.
