Improving the pavilion at Templeton Reserve
The pavilion at Templeton Reserve needs improvements to meet modern standards, including female-friendly and accessible changerooms and facilities.
We are exploring options to fund a redevelopment, including federal government funding.
As we start to think about how to improve the pavilion, we want to know what is important to you.
Consultation is open from Thursday 19 February to Wednesday 11 March 2026.

Engagement plan summary
To understand community preferences towards potential improvements to the pavilion at Templeton Reserve.
No decision is being made currently.
- People who live in or own property near the reserve
- Members of sporting clubs
- Reserve users and visitors.
For this project we will be engaging our community at the level of Consult on the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Spectrum.
This means we will listen to what you say and consider it when we make a decision.
Your feedback will help us understand what you value about the reserve in the context of a potential pavilion redevelopment.
- Changes to the pavilion. No decisions are being made about changes to the pavilion at this stage.
- Existing lease and licence agreements with sports clubs.
- Budget for the potential future redevelopment of the pavilion. This is considered during Council's annual budgeting process.
