Your parks, reimagined

We are inviting your feedback for the development of a new Open Space Strategy, to guide the development of our green spaces over the next ten years.

The Strategy will ensure our parks, sports fields, playgrounds and nature reserves are developed to meet the needs of our growing community, and support livability and wellbeing.

Knox is known for its green leafy character, with over 300 parks, reserves and playing fields, our open spaces are much-loved and valued by residents of all ages. They provide significant value through physical activity, social connection, mindful living, community events, environmental sustainability, and much more.

Looking after our open spaces keeps our community flourishing. That is why the development of a new strategy is crucial, to ensure these spaces are well looked after and supported.

Your participation is important to us, we want to hear how you use and enjoy Knox’s open spaces. This is your opportunity to share what you most value, what you want to see, what you would like to change, and your priorities for the future of these spaces.

Consultation closes Friday 3 May 2024.
