Project Update
The bold and colourful Game On mural at the original front entrance to the Knox Regional Netball Centre was painted in 2010 by local artist duo, Dabs Myla, assisted by Leigh Ouwerkerk.
With the Knox Regional Netball Centre Stage 2 redevelopment underway, we would like to know what you think about the future of this mural.
A bit about the mural
The characters represented in the mural reflect real local people who were netballers and Centre users at the time. Thirteen years later, staff at the Centre still recall the names of the people represented in the Game On mural.
In its 13-year history, this mural has not been tagged or defaced, in an area renowned for graffiti and after-hours vandalism.
Since the mural was created, artist duo, Dabs Myla has continued to grow their folio of work and now operates a design studio in the United States: https://dabsmyla.com/
