Update on the Gambling Harm Prevention Policy

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the draft Gambling Harm Prevention Policy. We appreciate your time and effort in providing your feedback.
The draft Gambling Harm Prevention Policy sets out how Council will minimise or prevent gambling related harm in the Knox community.
We engaged with the community over a three-week period from 1 October to 24 October 2025. We sought feedback on whether the draft policy reflects community aspirations.
Overall, the feedback received aligns with the key priority areas of the draft policy.
Next steps
Council will consider the draft Gambling Harm Prevention Policy at a Council meeting in the coming months.
