Improved lighting at Eildon Park
As part of a State Government grant, Council is seeking to upgrade the sportsground lighting at Eildon Park Reserve’s first oval.
The existing lighting has been unreliable, with frequent maintenance call-outs, and does not meet Knox’s guidelines for sports facilities.
Home to the Rowville Football Club during the winter season with the club’s junior football program running out of this site, including Auskick, the upgrade would aim to improve both safety and usability for both local community members and local sporting groups.
To help us shape the future of the reserve, share your thoughts with us by Friday 7 March.
What would the upgrade include?
The new lighting will be to 100LUX and have the ability to operate at a lower LUX level to support other uses such as walking and running, when not in use by the club.
