We seek feedback from the Bayswater community on 2 proposed cricket training facility upgrades. The upgrades should be delivered in 2022–23.

The 2 sites are:

  • Guy Turner Reserve
  • Marie Wallace Bayswater Oval

We expect to see improvements made to pitches, fencing and netting as part of the works

The upgrades will be funded in partnership with our Active Open Space Renewal Program and Sport & Recreation Victoria.

The proposed works at Guy Turner Reserve and Marie Wallace Bayswater Oval follow on from recent upgrades to other cricket training facilities. They are part of a broader plan to deliver more cricket training facilities across Knox in the future.

These enhancements to our sporting reserves aim to improve safety for players and encourage greater participation in cricket for all. They reflect our ongoing commitment to improve sporting facilities for the community.
