We seek feedback from the Bayswater community on two proposed cricket training facility upgrades earmarked for delivery in 2022/23.
The two sites are:
- Guy Turner Reserve
- Marie Wallace Bayswater Oval
As part of these works, improvements would be made to the pitches, fencing and netting. The upgrades will be funded in partnership through Council's Active Open Space Renewal Program and potential grants received from external parties.
The proposed works at Guy Turner Reserve and Marie Wallace Bayswater Oval follow on from recent upgrades to other cricket training facilities within Knox that are part of a broader plan to deliver high quality cricket training facilities to the Knox community.
These enhancements aim to improve safety for players and encourage greater participation in cricket for all. They reflect Council's ongoing commitment to improve sporting facilities for the community.
