We are committed to effective, fit for purpose and open community engagement.

Following a review our Community Engagement Policy with the community, the new Policy was endorsed by Council at the 22 February 2021 meeting. Outcomes of the community engagement and Policy can be seen below.

The Policy aims to value and acknowledge the skills, views and expertise held in our community and provide the opportunity for you to have an influence on the decisions being made.

This is not the end of the conversation. We will now be implementing the Policy and continually checking in to see how things are going.
