So what is 'Citizen Science'?

Citizen science is the practice of public participation and collaboration in scientific research. There are countless citizen science projects driven by communities all around the world. During 2021, the City Nature Challenge events held in Knox resulted in 400 different species being logged by the community as well as more than 1,000 observations being made in just four days! The community also observed 76 new species in areas they had not previously been recorded in Knox.
