Play space upgrades at Carrington Park

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the consultation phase for the Carrington Park play space upgrades. Consultation has closed.

Incorporating your feedback and ideas, we developed a concept design that includes:

  • the relocation of the existing playground to a more central area
  • exciting new play and exercise equipment for all age groups, including a basketball key and an outdoor gym
  • picnic shelter with seating
  • nature play.

Construction

Relocation and construction of the play equipment and picnic shelter are complete.

Construction of the basketball key and outdoor gym equipment will commence in mid March 2026 and is due for completion in late May 2026.
