Erica Avenue is located between Boronia Junction and Boronia Village, in the heart of Boronia. It's an important link for public transport users and local businesses.

With the help of the Victorian Government, we are revitalising Erica Avenue.

Following community engagement in late 2021 and further consultation in August 2022, we have finalised the original design to ensure the best outcomes for traders, commuters, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and visitors.

Community consultation has finished and construction has commenced. You can review the consultation summary below.

Construction of the Erica Avenue Streetscape Renewal Project will be delivered in 2 stages:

    • Stage 1 – Reconstruction of the shared pathway along the north eastern end between Orchid Avenue and Chandler Road has been completed.
    • Stage 2 – Reconstruction works to the remaining streetscape is expected to take place in the second half of 2023.

The area outside of Aldi will not be upgraded until after construction of the store is complete. Finalised designs for this section of Erica Avenue are still to be confirmed.
