Our proposed 2021-22 Budget has been designed to centre on programs that are of high priority to our community - things like wellbeing, families and the environment.
We're focusing on delivering funding that will help our residents, businesses and community organisations continue rebuilding and engaging in community life.
- funding for mental health,
- introducing state-funded three-year-old kindergarten for local families, and
- implementing our new Climate Response Plan to protect and preserve Knox, both now and for future generations.
We are investing in growing and strengthening Knox while recognising the continued challenges many in our community still face, and funding will support older and vulnerable members of our community, as well as responding to emerging health and social needs.
The final budget is expected to be adopted at a Council Meeting on 28 June 2021.
