This survey closed on Wednesday 11 October. Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback.
An overview of results will be shared through the committees in the new year.
Council Advisory Committees enable stakeholder engagement that is intended to provide input and guidance to support quality decision making and in turn, the achievements of Council’s goals and strategies under the Community Plan and Council Plan.
This survey is a self-assessment process for the participants in Council’s advisory committees. We are interested in hearing the voice of the customer and will be seeking feedback from advisory committee members, Councillors and Council officers about their views and experiences of the role, purpose and conduct of advisory committees. This step is being taken in response to feedback received from officers, advisory committee members and Councillors over time.
The self-assessment is an initial step and feedback received will guide future steps in this review process. We anticipate that feedback and recommendations regarding committees will be useful to inform actions that can be put in place over the course of the next year to ensure we maximise the value of our committees. It may also guide further, case-by-case assessment of advisory committees during 2024.
The survey is being conducted by the Governance and Risk Department to provide a level of assurance that your responses will be treated confidentially. We will provide a summary of feedback to each committee in the new year.
If you have any questions or would prefer to provide your feedback via phone or email you can contact Saskia Weerheim, Head of Governance on 9298 8204 or email governance@knox.vic.gov.au.
